With the Octavia Scout wants Skoda a piece of the Offroad cake ergattern. Similarly as it AUDI with the Allroad before-made, presents the Czechs a area-suited version of the Octavia combination. Somewhat more highly put and provided with durable plastic bumpers the Scout is ready for exits off the asphalted road.

Its premiere celebrates the Offroad Skoda on that Paris autosalon. Opposite the Octavia 4x4 already available with all-wheel drive the body of the new Scout grew nevertheless by a centimeter - speak marketing stepping gene of ten millimeters -.

Kraft of the four wheels

Outwardly the Octavia Scout is more durably arranged as the normal combination. Newly arranged bumpers, more substantial Türschweller as well as protection strips at the wheel housings provide for jeep optics and protect besides against scratches.

The drive takes over alternatively from two high performance engines: the 2,0-Liter-Benziner with 150 HP or a self fuze with same capacity. The Diesel carries 140 HP out and is in series equipped with a particle filter. The power transmission takes place in both cases by means of a manual six-course transmission.
